I'm just saying it now...

After Pope Benedict XVI dies, this man will be the Pope or at least the top official of the Roman Curia.

Meet Pietro Parolin...He is "Petrus Romanus/Peter the Roman" or "Pope Peter II".

He may take the role of the Pope without ever putting on the robes of the Pope.

Why? A catastrophe at the Vatican could wipe out the top leadership of the Church during either a consistory or a conclave of the College of Cardinals. As a result of no viable College surviving to elect a new pontiff.
